Inspired by the ancient Damascene technique of inlaying precious metals into an iron base, this series was featured in the 1977-1978 and 1978-1979 Tiffany & Co. Blue Book catalogs. For the series, Angela Cummings used 22 or 24 karat gold embossed into black lacquered iron, creating a stunning visual effect.
